Trouble Shooting
(Try these tips, before scheduling an unnecessary service call.)
- Check and clean air filers regulalry.
- Ensure air conditioning system is free of debris or anything that might obstruct airflow going in and out of unit.
- Is system is plugged in?
- If outdoor system is not working, check circuit breakers.
- Installing a new thermostat? Unplug your furnace before installing the new thermostat, to prevent blowing out your system transformer, causing unnecessary repair bills.
- Make sure all air flow vents are open.
Energy Saving Tips
- For best cooling efficiency keep thermostat at 78 degrees.
- For best heating efficiency keep thermals at 68 degrees.
- Keeps filters clean.
- Caulk window seals.
- Have a good seal between thresholds and entry doors.
- Programmable thermostats save a lot of energy by not having to heat or cool while you aren't there.
